Meet Lucy

“Lady Lucy of Fountainhead” is her given name…Fountainhead was the name of the subdivision we lived in when we got her in January 2003.  She is a mighty 27-pound cockapoo without a hateful bone in her body.  

I always thought people were weird who said their animals were like their children  - well, never say never.  Since we don’t have children Lucy is definitely our “dog-child.”  And, you gotta know she is every bit my dog since she LOVES collard greens, kale, rapini, I mean she even knows the sound of me cutting greens and comes running. 

Lucy has a lot of fans out there and you know it’s bad when someone you know well calls and leaves a “barking” message just for Lucy!  

I could go on and on about her tricks and stories of her escapades but just this picture of her might give you an idea of what a soulful dog she is and why we’re hoping she’ll outlive us!
