Meet Alex

There are a million wonderful things I’d like to share with you about my man, my husband, Alex, but I’ll try and keep this brief. 

From day one of our meeting over 15 years ago, (his Mama, Lois Jean fixed us up on a blind date) Alex has truly been my biggest supporter in whatever venture I have felt called to.  And, let me tell you, I’ve gotten pretty creative with some of my ventures. 

I wish I could count the number of times he’s run to the farmer’s market or grocery store for me or the number of pots and pans he has washed or dishwashers he’s unloaded…all without complaining, ever.  I mean, when you’re fed as well as he is I doubt you’d complain either.

Alex is an engineer by trade in the telecommunications world and has been ever since he got out of Georgia Tech so I think even though he enjoys his work my adventures have given him a nice diversion.  I love to hear Alex extol the benefits of eating real food to anyone who will listen…I mean he really just picks up where I leave off.  I do hope he’ll have his own blog one day to share with all the men out there all that he knows about eating “real” even if you’re traveling and how to handle stress better. 

So here’s to the greatest man I know and I got to marry him!
